It is the ROMG Chamber’s position that commercial revitalization of existing business areas should be a priority. New developments should be complementary to established businesses. Developers and the business community in general should be encouraged through innovative programs and incentives to invest in established commercial centers and existing facilities. The Chamber supports the full funding and authorization of government initiatives such as low-interest loan programs, job creations and property tax credits, etc., to achieve this priority.
