One of the easiest ways to increase your presence in the Chamber and in the business community is to join one of our committees. Please feel free to contact the chairperson or the chamber office if you are interested in learning more about any of our committees.

Ambassador Committee

As representatives of the Chamber, ambassadors welcome new members (and existing members) via phone calls, emails, and visits. Ambassadors also help with member introductions at events. Members should be able to attend many Chamber events.
Sub-committees include: Referral Group

Financial Committee

Headed by the treasurer, this committee assists in creating the budget for the upcoming year. This committee meets at the discretion of the treasurer and president and will meet more frequently leading up to the budget submission to the Board.

Events Committee

Assist the president in planning and developing informational, fund-raising, networking, and social events. Good planning, attention to detail, and the ability to follow-through with tasks are well-desired traits for this committee!
Sub-committees include: Taste of the Town, Charter Night and the 5k Race

Legislative Committee

Members representing various businesses monitor state and county legislation and may serve as the Chamber’s voice on such matters at the direction of the Executive Committee, President, or Board of Directors.

Nominating Committee

Seeks out and recommends members to fill available Board positions.

Education Committee

This group nurtures the relationship between businesses and schools through partnerships, and events. The committee is comprised of business members and school representatives.
