One of the easiest ways to increase your presence in the Chamber and in the business community is to join one of our committees. Please feel free to contact the chairperson or the chamber office if you are interested in learning more about any of our committees.
As representatives of the Chamber, ambassadors welcome new members (and existing members) via phone calls, emails, and visits. Ambassadors also help with member introductions at events. Members should be able to attend many Chamber events.
Sub-committees include: Referral Group
This group nurtures the relationship between businesses and schools through partnerships, and events. The committee is comprised of business members and school representatives. See what programs our schools offer the community.
Sub-committees include: The Scholarship Committee
Assist the president in planning and developing informational, fund-raising, networking, and social events. Good planning, attention to detail, and the ability to follow-through with tasks are well-desired traits for this committee!
Sub-committees include: Taste of the Town, Charter Night and the 5k Race
Headed by the treasurer, this committee assists in creating the budget for the upcoming year. This committee meets at the discretion of the treasurer and president and will meet more frequently leading up to the budget submission to the Board.
Members representing various businesses monitor state and county legislation and may serve as the Chamber’s voice on such matters at the direction of the Executive Committee, President, or Board of Directors.
This is a ROMG Member-Only opportunity. Meet with fellow business owners and professionals once a month in a confidential setting where members act as your mentor. This group is industry-exclusive but it is NOT a leads group. This is your chance to get 8-10 fresh ideas as well as insights to help you to push your business forward to your next level of success. Each group consists of no more then 10 members. Call for availability.

Professional Women in Business
Women in business- this one is for you. Join in and help to organize networking as well as other events for fellow professional women. There is a quarterly speaking series as well as other educational and fun events where you will be able to network and learn.
This free industry-exclusive group is free with your membership and will begin meeting again in the spring. Typically, the group meets on Thursday mornings, 7:45am-9:00am, at a local eatery.
If you are 40 years old (or look it!) or younger, this is a great group for you! Join the committee to help plan upcoming events which younger members would enjoy. Watch our website for their upcoming events.
